Let me tell you a little about myself, don’t worry, I am not going to bore you with a blow by blow account of my life history, although there are those that advise that my life thus far has actually been quite interesting, but that is for another day! I consider myself a student and teacher; I love to learn and love to share knowledge. So what qualifies me to write about herbs then? Well, I once worked for a lady who used natural healing and holistic methods as a matter of course for her animals and of course her family. Seeing the “sensitive” in me, Margaret was happy to share the information with me that had been passed down through generations of her family. The advice she gave me and the methods I therefore employed enabled me to return a horse to fitness that the veterinarian said would most likely never return to soundness. Thus inspired, I embarked on a course on herbalism and natural medicine. This was all some time ago and these days thankfully, these methods are again en vogue. I have Diploma's in several natural medicine subjects, but my degree is Humanities with World Religion and incorporated world heritage.
I am writing from England, having strong family connections in the USA, a country I adore, so I apologize in advance if I sometimes revert to English spellings. After all, the UK and USA are two countries divided (only) by a common language! Finally, I hope my writings are of interest and help to you.
