My career so far has been very varied and has included, engineering, entertainer musician, artist, chef and nowadays I work as an author.
My passion and love of curry has made me pursue the perfect curry. I have visited and worked with Indian chefs in Goa, Karalla, and Sri Lanka. Growing up in Bradford Yorkshire gave me a good start, and when others of my generation were still eating fish and chips I was in the city centre trying out the new emerging curry houses, some of them were definitely dodgy.
It is such a shame that the countless takeaways stick to British curries such as Madras rather than selling their more traditional dishes.
Tony hails from England's curry capitol Bradford and he has been cooking curry since 1970 when he first became interested in cooking. His meals use only the best ingredients to make sure the dish is perfect.
He has travelled to India and Sri Lanka on several occasions to seek out authentic recipes.
In 2010 I began trying my hand at baking bread and I soon found that I had a passion for it. I’ve tried bread from most countries, buying my flour from specialist mills all over the UK.I tend to bake once a week and freeze most of the loaves to use them later.
I still paint and occasionally play one of my eleven guitars.
I have currently four books published.
