Coated Pretzels Are the Bomb!
I'm no stranger to coated pretzels. I like the pretzels dipped in almond bark, white chocolate, and even milk chocolate.
But my favorite is the ranch-coated variety. Here's how to make your own.
- 1 bag of hard pretzels
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons dill weed
- 1 package Hidden Valley Ranch dip powder
- Place pretzels in a bowl.
- Coat with olive oil.
- Sprinkle garlic powder across, then dill weed, followed by the Hidden Valley Ranch Dip mix.
- Shake to coat.
- No baking, just place in bag and eat.
How It Started
Some time ago, I visited a neighbor's house for the evening. She shared with me her homemade, freshly-coated, seasoned pretzels. I took one, and another, and soon I was dipping into that bag like they were the last pretzels on earth.
I took the first one, and then another one, and then, a handful.
Then, someone moved the bag. If it wasn't apparent before that moment that I was hooked, that clinched it.
I still have some hard feelings about that bag being moved away.
