A Quick-to-Make Biscuit Recipe
If you are like me, you like recipes that have few ingredients and are easy to make, especially when you are in a hurry or if you decide to make something the last minute. I love this recipe because it is simple.
- 2 cups flour
- 1 TBSP Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 cup Shortening
- 3/4 cup Milk
- Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl then join the shortening.
- After using a fork to mix everything together like pebbles, pour in the milk. Stir all ingredients into a dough.
- Cover the counter with flour, add the dough, and then cover your hands with flour before handling the sticky dough.
- When the dough is circular, cut out the biscuits, and then place them on an ungreased cookie sheet before placing the sheet in the 450 degree oven.
