Berry Banana Breakfast Smoothie

This smoothie is a delicious way to start your morning or makes a great treat during hot summer days. Ripe bananas, berries, and ice are blended to make this yummy treat, which can be enjoyed any time of the day.

This recipe is super simple to make and is great for gluten-free diets as well as vegan diets.

Ingredients

  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 1/2 cups ice

Directions

  1. Add all of the ingredients into a blender and blend for 1 to 2 minutes.
  2. Pour in glasses, garnish with strawberries, and enjoy.

Note: You can substitute any type of milk for the almond milk.
