Hello Rinita,

Omelette and fried egg are two of my favorite egg dishes. I came up with this recipe because these are the only ingredients available in my kitchen. Luckily, everything blended so well. Hope you will try my recipe and let me know the result.

This is great! I always like to experiment with omelettes, and this version is both simple and mouth watering. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Eric,

The first time I enjoyed tofu was by accident. I just like the texture of it so I bet it will work with omelet as well. Though this maybe a problem for picky eater, they might not like the texture of it.

Eric Dierker from Spring Valley, CA. U.S.A. on July 22, 2018:

I like the Tofu comments.

Travel Chef (author) from Manila on July 22, 2018:

Your version sounds delicious too! I like to eat omelet with rice as well. Thanks for dropping by!

Hi Bede,

Have you tried using TVP? It is an alternative for meat products. However, you might not like the texture of it.

Another suggestion is to use tofu. What I do with tofu is freeze it and thaw it. Its texture differs than the infreeze one.

Eric Dierker from Spring Valley, CA. U.S.A. on July 22, 2018:

Excellent. This shall be done with Vietnamese sausage and put the leftover then fried rice inside the folded pocket. Mine will have Chollula sauce and the boy with Maggie sauce. Thanks.

I'm vegetarian so maybe I'll try slicing some soy product. Any suggestions? Thanks for sharing the recipe.
