  • 3 eggs
  • Salt and black pepper powder, to taste
  • 3 to 4 cubes salted butter
  • 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons oil
  • 6 to 7 slices tomato, or as needed


  1. In a bowl, break the eggs, add salt and pepper to taste, and whisk until well mixed. Set aside.
  2. Heat the butter cubes and oil in a nonstick pan. Lay the tomato slices on the bottom of the pan in a single layer. Let them cook for 1 to 2 minutes; then flip them over and let the other side too cook for about 1 minute.
  3. Pour the whisked eggs over the tomatoes and cover with a lid. Let cook until the eggs are well cooked on top, about 3-4 minutes on low-medium heat.
  4. Transfer the omelette to a plate and serve.
