Peanut Butter No-Bake Bars Recipe
Lisa Jane has been cooking for many years. She loves trying out new recipes as well as cooking old family favorites.
For some reason, I have been cooking and baking a lot more than normal. I am going through my mother's recipes and trying them out again. I love going through her recipes because, as I do, I can remember my mother baking them when I was little. It brings back good memories. It is a lot more fun when my mother and I do it together.
Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 4 cups oatmeal
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions
- Bring to a boil sugar, butter, and milk. It should take 5 minutes. Take off the stove.
- Pour in peanut butter, vanilla, and oatmeal.
- Spread in an 8 x 11 pan. Let it solidify, then cut.
