Eat-N-Out Pizza & Gelato

Eat-N-Out Pizza & Gelato is located at 531 Monroe Ave., Detroit, MI (Greek Town). It is between Exodus Lounge and The Greek.

After some research, I have decided to help them with a little bit of publicity!

The Food

Eat-N-Go Pizza & Gelato offers pizza by the slices, 12" ($10.99) and 18" ($16.99). Their lunch special consists of two slices, a beverage and a choice of chips for $7.99. On the display station, their choices of slices consist of chicken alfredo slices, pepperoni slices, or cheese slices. The two different types of chips they offer are Miss Vickie's Sea Salt and Miss Vickie's Jalapeños.

They have a vegetable station and a sherbet—wait until I become super-descriptive about their choices of flavors!

The 18" Pizza That I Tried

I ended up placing an order for an 18" pizza. The first half was chicken alfredo, and the second half was veggies, minus olives and pineapples. It was delicious!

The pizza itself consisted of an impressive freshly baked crust, and I could taste the garlic butter flavor, parmesan, and the alfredo sauce blended with its provolone cheese taste to it. I enjoyed this the most on the Chicken Alfredo side.

On the Veggie side, I particularly enjoyed the blend of jalapeno peppers and banana peppers, although optionally, you could eliminate one of the two, depending on how many levels of hotness that you can handle! The veggie side was blended with an enjoyable array of mushrooms, onions, and green peppers.

To add to this, the sauce, in particular, was made healthy enough, so that one wouldn't have to worry about a heartburn effect. So, if you love pizza but have heartburn concerns, this place is definitely worth the try!

The Sherbets

During this visit, I had the opportunity to try four different types of sherbets. They are non-dairy, gluten-free, and all natural!

  • Although the "Rose Champagne" has very close to 0% of alcohol (but not quite "zero"), the flavor instantly took me into a nightclub-like mental atmosphere. One would think that they're really having Champagne, although it's really just the flavor seeping through the taste buds.
  • The "Toasted Coconut Almond Fudge" has its exceptional coconut and chocolate blend, and surely reminds me of the Almond Joy candy bar!
  • The "Spumoni" has a pistachio flavor, and its enjoyable taste.
  • The "White Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecake" has a very nice fresh strawberry taste to it and is blended with crust pieces.

If in case I've activated your taste buds enough, they sell three different sizes from largest to smallest, and their price options are $3.49, $5.49, & $6.99, although George says even the smallest size has a nice amount of sherbet/ice cream in the scoop!

Additional sherbet flavors available for try are cookie monster, red velvet, superwoman, strawberry sorbetto, fresh lemon, and fresh raspberry sorbetto.
