As much as I enjoy cooking at home, sometimes I feel tired or am not in the mood. In these situations, however, I'm not willing to skip dinner at home with my family just because I'm feeling lazy. So what do I do?

I'm picky when it comes to frozen meals. First and foremost, they have to be healthy. For example, I look for foods that are certified organic, non-GMO, and have no artificial ingredients or antibiotics. Of course, there are many different options available in the frozen food aisle, but for the past two years, I have been purchasing the Saffron Road brand.
Many Saffron Road meals are inspired by Asian and Middle Eastern cuisine. My favorites are Madras Curry, Chicken Biryani, Chicken Tikka Masala, Coconut Chicken Curry, and Vegetable Pad Thai.
This brand offers vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, as well. In addition, they make healthy snacks such as crunchy chickpeas, baked lentil chips, and lentil crackers that are covered with different types of spices.
Another Saffron Road option is their "artisan wrap" line, which combines an ancient flatbread tradition from the Mediterranean with ingredients and flavors from South Asia. The wraps come in three varieties (Bean & Cheese, Samosa with Chickpeas, and Butter Chicken) and are available in the frozen section.
