A Simple BBQ Steak Recipe

Updated on January 5, 2017

Everyone loves steak. The trick to good tasting steak is the sauce. The cut of beef is also a factor in how tender the steak is to chew. Here is a simple recipe for great tasting steak without breaking the bank.

How to Make It?

What are the ingredients?

  • Beef loin flap meat steak (I got mine from Costco)
  • Yoshida sauce
  • soy sauce
  • cooking oil

How do I prepare it?

  1. The night before, marinate the beef strips in a deep pot with a generous portion of Yoshida sauce mixed with a few spoons of soy sauce. Store in a cool place.
  2. After 24 hours, place the meat on a hot BBQ grill or a cooking sheet coated with some oil. Broil at 500 degrees for approx. 10 minutes and turn over and grill for another 8 minutes.
  3. Remove from grill or cooking sheet and slice into approx. 1/2 inch slices and serve hot.

Summary

This recipe is so simple, it practically cooks itself. It is economical because the steak costs only $6.69 per pound. You can feed a family of 6 for about $30.00. Everyone loves the taste and can't stop eating it. Try it and let me know if you agree.

P.S. I cannot take credit for this recipe. It was given to me from my brother-in-law who lives in Seattle.
