How to Make Chicken Nuggets

Chicken nuggets are delicious snacks that are beloved by kids and adults alike. They're also really easy to make at home, and the homemade version is often healthier than the kind you buy at the store.

This recipe is very quick and easy to make, and it's healthy, too. Once you've made the raw nuggets, you can freeze them and fry them when you're ready. Serve them as a snack or as part of a meal.

For the meatballs:

  • 2 cups chicken mince
  • 2 medium potatoes
  • 2 slices bread, soaked in water and squeezed
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and ground black pepper, to taste

For dredging:

  • 1 egg
  • All-purpose flour
  • Bread crumbs


  1. Boil the potatoes and then mash them.
  2. Soak the bread slices in water and squeeze them.
  3. In a bowl, mix the chicken mince, mashed potatoes, and squeezed bread.
  4. Add 1 egg and mix well.
  5. Add some salt and ground black pepper, to taste, and mix.
  6. Apply some oil on your palms. Take a small amount of the meat mixture and shape it into a nugget.
  7. Take the nugget and roll it in the all-purpose flour.
  8. In a small bowl, whisk the other egg. Dip the nugget into the beaten egg.
  9. Roll the nugget in the bread crumbs. You can make bread crumbs at home or can buy them from the market.
  10. Now your first nugget is ready to fry. Prepare the other nuggets similarly. At this stage, you can freeze them for later use.
  11. Fry the nuggets over low flame so that they cook well throughout.
  12. Your delicious chicken nuggets are ready. Bon appetit!
