When you’re traveling, it’s exciting to sample the local cuisine. If you’re in Las Vegas, you can go to a variety of restaurants, eateries, and buffets. But would you visit one that made you sign a waiver?
In a TikTok video, content creator @shalyssaseatz shared footage of her visit to a pizza place in Las Vegas that requires a waiver to be signed if you eat the hot spicy pizza. This isn't for the faint of heart.
Our first impression of the pizza was one of awe. We’ve never seen a pizza on fire as it’s being carried to a table. We’re curious as to what is on the pizza so that it burns without damaging the slices. However, seeing the pizza lit wasn’t the biggest surprise for us. Seeing people sign the waiver before indulging in a slice threw us for a loop. We can’t believe people are willing to take that risk.
Let’s see how the TikTok community responded to this video. User @zcdimepiece said, “Gimmick food.” @dongkyuverymuch wrote, “Nah, I’m good. LOL.” @noone5688 replied, “I'll take that on. Ghost pepper is hot but by no means the hottest.” @user380522 replied, “Nah, I’m good.” @Domathen remarked, “Wow, I want to try.” @HolaGato said, “Burn so good.” @Evil Llama Reviews wrote, “Get me to Vegas. I got this.” @Esther Huang joked, “And you might get lit on fire. LOL.”
Yes, serving pizza that is still lit is a possible safety hazard. But we hope the people running the eatery are well-trained. If you enjoyed the video and want to see more content, visit @shalyssaseatz’s TikTok channel. For more Delishably updates, be sure to follow us on Google News!
