Woman's Reaction to Eating a 3-Month-Old Burrito Isn't What We Expected

The invention of refrigeration changed the game for humanity. It allows us to save our food for longer periods. But how long is too long for holding on to leftovers?

TikTok content creator @feelgoodfoodie shared footage of her reheating a three-month-old breakfast burrito. She wasn’t put off by the fact it had been sitting in her freezer for so long. She was okay with reheating it to eat. But how does it taste?

The @feelgoodfoodie shared how she prepped her breakfast burrito before eating it. She wrapped it in a damp paper towel before placing it inside the microwave. Next, she microwaved it for three minutes. Then she removed the paper towel and cut it in half. She placed it in the toaster oven to warm up the slightly frozen middle. She removed it from the toaster oven, allowed it to cool, and ate it. She said that it tasted good, so our concerns were not necessary.

Let’s see how the TikTok community responded. User @My Nguyen said, “Wow! I didn’t know you could do that.” @Neekas biggest fan replied, “It’s almost like food can be frozen.” @eliza disclosed, “People in the comments don’t realize food can stay good in the freezer for a year, depending on what it is.” @sem323323 exclaimed, “Thanks for normalizing having stuff frozen for months! That’s the POINT of the freezer.”

We’re surprised you don’t realize you can freeze for months. But it also depends on what you’re freezing. Burritos taste fine after months of freezing, so feel free to do it.
