Cast your vote for Avocado Cilantro Cream Dip

This dip is full of fresh flavor without a lot of work. It's an alternative to guacamole and can sub as a topper, like sour cream or salsa, for Mexican food recipes. It's also great by itself with tortilla chips and provides a cooling accompaniment for my hotter-than-hell salsa.

  • 1 Large Avocado, Pit and skin removed
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 2 Tbsp Canned Hatch Chile
  • 1 Tbsp Lime Juice
  • To taste Salt and Pepper
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder

  1. Put all ingredients into a food processor and puree until smooth. Refrigerate 1-2 hours to allow flavors to combine.
