How to Prepare Your Green Beans
Wash and cut the ends of the beans. I like to sort out any beans that have dry or black spots and discard them.
Cut the ends off the beans and place them in a microwaveable dish. Slice onion and sprinkle over beans. Sprinkle the Greek seasoning salt over the beans and dribble butter around over all the beans. Add 2 teaspoons of water and place plastic wrap over the dish.
Put in the microwave on high or 9 minutes. The instructions in my book say 9 to 13 minutes, but I don't like my beans to get shriveled up from overcooking.
