I've always been open to trying new things, and I love to cook. I feel it's another way to be creative. This looked like it would taste good. So, I decided to give your recipe a try. I searched the internet and found some organic moong dal online. I ordered it. It finally came. This afternoon I tried your recipe, and it was actually really tasty. I didn't eat it as a meal by itself. But, I had it with my meal. I made some chicken, potatoes, zucchini, and yellow moong dal salad. It certainly made a good side dish and complimented the rest of the food well. Everything turned out delicious including the moong dal. Thanks for the wonderful recipe Nithya.

Very nice, delicious and nutritious salad recipe. Quite an innovative way to have moong daal. Moong daal is one of my favourite daal, and I usually cook it like the normal yellow daal, or grind it to make pakodas.

Thanks for sharing this easy to make and wonderful recipe.
