How to Cook Cheesy Hot Dog Lumpia
I am a chef on a luxury world cruise liner. I love to cook and write recipes that are inspired by foods from all over the world.
Lumpia is a popular Filipino snack made with a thin, crepe-like wrapper. It is also known as a spring roll, and it can be served as a hot appetizer or a main dish. Typically, this dish is filled with meat, seafood, and/or vegetables.
In this twist on a beloved classic, I've prepared cheesy hot dog lumpia.

Tips and Techniques
- Serve with your favorite dip.
- Use any kind of hot dog available.
- Add any kind of cheese.
- For best results, cook the hot dog before rolling it in the lumpia wrappers. You can boil, fry, or steam the hot dog.
- Replace the cornstarch with similar products such as all-purpose flour, rice flour, etc. If you don't have any of these on hand, you can also just use plain water to seal the wrappers.
